We just got back from a cabin the Laddon, somewhere north of Sweden outback an hour and a half from JokkMokk. It just occurred to me that the isolated cabin we were in, no people, no running water, no electricity etc. is almost no different then the some of the villages in I’ve been in South East Asia, except that in this case we had to bring food from town (as opposed to the available rice/chicken/pigs etc in the SE Asian Villages). However we did have a sauna, which helped in the bathing process as we could jump into the cold lake and rush back into a HOT room. Hopefully will be able to post some pics. Now off to another remote place to check out the wilderness of the north (Sweden still)
